Our Mission

Main Street Gallatin works to revitalize and preserve historic downtown Gallatin, supporting local businesses, hosting community events, and keeping the square a place to gather, shop, and celebrate.

Lend a hand

Get Involved

There’s no single way in. Most people start small and find their own level. Here’s what that looks like.

  1. Come to something

    First Fridays, the farmers market, Chautauqua. Showing up is the whole first step.

  2. Join the Insiders

    One short email a month, so you hear what’s coming before anyone else.

  3. Help at an event

    Setup, staffing, day-of teardown. A couple of hours, no ongoing commitment.

  4. Join a committee

    Pick the part you actually care about (events, beautification, fundraising) and help shape it.

  5. Serve on the board

    Help steer the organization and decide where the effort goes next.

  • First Fridays on the Square

    Friday, Aug 7, 2026 Upcoming

    A free downtown evening on the Courthouse Square, 6 to 8 PM, with live music, food, and family fun.

  • Gallatin Chautauqua

    Sept 18 to 20, 2026 Upcoming

    Our signature fall festival downtown, with live music, a parade, car show, food, and more.

  • Scare on the Square

    Late October 2026 Upcoming

    A free downtown Halloween event for families around the square. Date to be confirmed.

  • Gallatin Farmers Market

    Saturdays in season Ongoing MSG event

    Local produce, baked goods, and handmade goods from area vendors, downtown. A Main Street Gallatin event.

  • First Fridays on the Square

    July 3, 2026 Recent

    A free First Friday evening on the Courthouse Square with live music, food, and family fun.
